Wayfare Sports Floors is a full-service wood floor company handling commercial and residential projects, including installations, repairs and maintenance.
Installations
Wayfare installs wood floor in all environments including new construction, historical buildings, gymnasiums, residential or any building that requires the tearing out of an old wood floor. From tear out to installation we see all projects through from start to finish. The Wayfare team is also proficient in Tarkett Flooring Systems ranging from sleeper to floating floor systems. Wayfare proudly uses MFMA approved wood and finishes.
Screen & Re-Coats
It is incredibly to perform Screen and Recoats regularly to maintain the integrity of the wood floor. This yearly maintenance process, especially in gymnasiums, is the first defense in protecting the wood surfaces for student athletes. Screen and recoating is available for all environments where wood floor has been installed.
Sanding
It is important to sand and refinish any wood floor surface every 10-15 years to protect the integrity of the wood. In gymnasiums, sanding ensures a safer playing surface for student athletes. Sanding also allows for the opportunity of updating the aesthetic of the floor design including the logo, paint, stain and finish.
Repairs
Wayfare is able to make any needed wood floor repairs anywhere from small gouge marks to removing and replacing entire sections of floor for a safe and blended surface.
Design
Wood floor design is an exciting part of the process for both residential and commercial clients. The Wayfare in-house custom design team works collaboratively with all customers to create the exact floor to meet their unique aesthetic desires. Wayfare provides mock-up images and paint color matching for all client’s approval. Each year at Wayfare, we proudly produce hundreds of new gymnasium floor designs and are confident that we can create the perfect design for you.
